Its 4-flute design, combined with a 30° helix angle and bright coating, creates a sharp, low-friction cutting edge that minimizes grabbing and heat buildup, particularly effective in free-machining brass and bronze. This ensures smooth chip evacuation and fine edge finishes, reducing melting or burr formation in plastics and acrylics.
The tools geometry and bright coating are optimized for non-ferrous materials like brass and bronze, emphasizing sharpness and polished surfaces. Lacking a corner radius, it is intended for clean, precise cuts rather than interrupted or rough machining, avoiding chipping concerns associated with radiused edges.
