Applications

This TNMG433-GR NC3030 insert supports cutting speeds from 427 to 820 sfm, feeds between 0.011 and 0.031 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.307 in. It is designed for general to interrupted cutting with medium to low speed roughing. The insert is suitable for ISO material groups P25-P35 (steel) primarily, and M25-M35 (stainless steel) secondarily. Its negative rake chipbreaker and 60° trigon shape enable effective medium-to-rough turning and boring in rigid setups. Note that while it handles interrupted cuts, very heavy interrupted roughing is not recommended.
