Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 492 to 3281 sfm, feeds between 0.001 and 0.006 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.118 in. It is designed for continuous cutting operations with a positive rake chipbreaker optimized for finishing. The application envelope is limited to stable, continuous cuts without interruption. It is intended primarily for ISO material group N (non-ferrous metals). This insert excels in precision finishing of aluminum, copper alloys, and other non-ferrous materials, as well as finishing heat-resistant superalloys and stainless steels under stable conditions. Interrupted cutting and rough conditions are not supported.
