This insert is optimized for light to moderate depth cuts with fine feed control. Designed primarily for ISO group N (non-ferrous metals), this insert excels in continuous cutting operations. Its positive rake and 55° diamond shape make it unsuitable for interrupted cutting but ideal for profiling and copy turning of aluminum and other non-ferrous materials, delivering smooth finishes and precise contours.
