Applications

This insert supports cutting speeds from 295 to 492 sfm, feeds between 0.009 and 0.024 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.197 in. It is designed for heavy interrupted cutting and roughing operations with a maximum depth of cut limit at 0.197 in. It is optimized for ISO material groups M25 to M35, primarily stainless steel. The negative rake chipbreaker and robust 80° diamond shape make it ideal for heavy interrupted cuts and roughing in stainless steel, providing excellent edge strength and durability under demanding conditions.
