Applications

Cutting speeds range from 361 to 755 sfm, feeds from 0.002 to 0.012 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.197 in. This insert supports general to interrupted cutting with a maximum depth of cut of 0.197 in. It is designed primarily for ISO P30-P35 steel and secondarily for M20-M30 stainless steel, K30 cast iron, and S15-S25 HRSA/titanium. The negative rake chipbreaker and 80° diamond shape provide excellent edge strength and durability for roughing and interrupted cuts in these materials.
