Part of the legacy JL frame series, the Siemens JL3A22500S14 is a 3-pole, 225A motor circuit protector designed for industrial motor control. It delivers instantaneous magnetic-only protection for dedicated motor loads. This bolt-on unit installs into Siemens P4 and P5 panelboards or switchboards. As an exact replacement for older systems, it can be substituted by the JD63B225 (requires S14 suffix). Rated up to 600VAC, it features an adjustable magnetic trip and a 120VAC shunt trip.
