Applications

This WNMG432-HS NC5330 insert supports cutting speeds from 361 to 755 sfm, feeds between 0.007 and 0.018 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.197 in. It is designed for general to interrupted cutting operations, accommodating a range of machining conditions with a maximum depth of cut of 0.197 in. The insert is suitable primarily for ISO P30-P35 steel and secondarily for M20-M30 stainless steel, K30 cast iron, and S15-S25 HRSA/titanium. Its negative rake chipbreaker and robust 80° trigon shape make it ideal for medium to heavy roughing and interrupted cuts, but it is not recommended for profiling or boring applications.
