Applications

This CNMG insert supports cutting speeds from 427 to 820 sfm, feeds between 0.010 and 0.024 in/rev, and depths of cut up to 0.197 in. It is designed for medium to low-speed roughing with general to interrupted cutting conditions. The insert excels in steel and stainless steel machining, covering ISO groups P25-P35 and M25-M35. Its negative rake chipbreaker and robust 80° diamond shape enable strong edge performance and high metal removal rates. This insert is ideal for roughing and interrupted cuts but not recommended for precision finishing or profiling. It is well suited for shoulder turning and facing on rigid setups with heavier interrupted entries.
