The extra-sharp bandsaw blade manufactured by ARNTZ can be employed in metalworking primarily for cutting stainless steel workpieces. The blade also works well on non-ferrous materials, cast iron, and plastics. This custom-welded blade operates the best on tubes, solids, and other structures of steel having a light to medium thickness and can be used for either single-piece cutting or bundle cutting. ARNTZ sprint bandsaw blades are made of M42 bi-metal high-speed steel that makes them excellent to be used in metal manufacturing, machining, and other industries. It comes in width ranging from 1/2 inch to 1 inch and length 5ft to 12ft 6 inches. Teeth per inch on HSS saw blade varies with sprint-type 8/12 to 10/14. The thickness of this custom welded bandsaw sprint blade is 0.025″. The blade backing contains a high amount of chromium content, which grants long life to the blade. The positive rake angle of the teeth allows the blade to slope away from the cutting edge, which makes it pointed and thus sharp. This, in turn, helps you reduce the cutting force.
