Mitutoyo Outside Micrometers deliver precise, reliable measurement of part thickness and outside diameter. Designed for accuracy and durability, these industry-standard mechanical micrometers feature carbide measuring faces, rigid frames, and ergonomic one-handed operation for consistent performance. The 101 Series features a satin-chrome rigid frame with measuring ranges from 12 in. to 910 in. The 103 Series offers a baked-enamel frame with satin-chrome sleeves and thimbles for clear graduations, with ranges from 01 in. to 1112 in. Both series provide 0.0001 in. graduations, 0.000024 in. (0.6 m) measuring face flatness, and a positive locking clamp for dependable accuracy. The 103-922 model includes a three-piece ratchet-stop micrometer set in a fitted case.

Benefits

  • The easy-to-use mechanical OD micrometers provide you with highly accurate measurements, a rigid frame, and effortless handling.
  • The friction thimble enables you to have shock-free, smooth measuring operations.
  • The ratchet stop thimble is easily reachable and allows for constant pressure on the spindle and hence provides exactly accurate repeated readings.
  • With Mitutoyo’s micrometers, you get clear graduation markings, and they allow for single-handed operations.

Applications

  • These industry-grade OD micrometers manufactured by Mitutoyo are the in-demand mechanical measuring tools to measure the outside dimensions of small parts.
  • These screw gauges are great for measurements and also for measuring difficult-to-reach parts.
  • You can effortlessly use these mechanical outside micrometers in all mechanical and machining facilities, tool rooms, workshops, etc.

Features

  • Mitutoyo’s outside diameters come with flat and parallel carbide measuring faces.
  • The 101 series and 103 series include screw gauges with a friction or ratchet stop thimble.
  • All these inch-reading micrometers offer a 0.0001″ graduation and a positive locking clamp.
  • The 101 series have a satin-chrome-finished rigid frame and come in 1-2 inches to 9-10 inches measuring ranges.
  • The 103 series outside micrometers have a baked-enamel-finish rigid frame with measuring ranges starting from 0-1 inch to 11-12 inches.
